Acquisition Guidelines
Wocto is currently accepting for review: complete, typed manuscripts of original, children’s picture books or pre-chapter picture books written for ages six months through fourth grade. We will also consider working with new illustrators; please query with samples only, not originals. Wocto is not currently accepting material from songwriters. Please become familiar with our website and products before sending.

Please note that we accept queries only to the address above, and will not respond to phone or e-mail inquiries about material you have sent. We are currently working with fewer than five new writers and illustrators per year, and will respond to your query only if we are interested. Your material must be accompanied by a SASE to be returned. All contracts are negotiated individually.
